Funeral mass was offered Jan. 9 at St. Lawrence Church, Weehawken, for Agnes Hannagan, 97. She passed away Jan. 4 at Hamilton Park Health Care Center, Jersey City. Born in Hoboken to the late Bridget and James Carney, she was a lifelong resident of Hoboken. Agnes was an administrative secretary for the Department of Revenue and Finance for the City of Hoboken for 23 years before retiring. She was a member of the Rosary Society and Mothers Guild of Our Lady of Grace Church and recently a member of St. Lawrence Church, Weehawken. Her husband, Daniel, her sons Thomas and Daniel J., and daughter Marguerite Higgins predecease her. She is the mother of Patricia Carpenter; sister of Margret Gerber; and grandmother of five grand children and five great grand children. Services arranged by the Earl F.
