A private memorial service will be held for Paul DiNardo, Sr., 73, of Jersey City. He passed away Dec. 25 at his residence. Born in Jersey City, he was a lifelong resident. He served his country in the U.S. Army, and later served his community by joining the Jersey City Police Department, retiring as a lieutenant in 1994. He was predeceased by his youngest son, Marc Anthony (JCPD). Paul is mourned by his wife, Mary (nee: Zyman), his sister, Marie Rufo, his son Paul Jr. and his wife Lynette, his son Christopher and his wife Judy, and daughter in law, Mary, as well as many family members and friends. Paul was a grandfather to Gwendolyn, Marc Anthony II, Ella, Sophia, Dimitri and Max. A private memorial service at the request of the family will be held at a later date in his honor.
