Six-alarm fire at Roc Harbour development in North Bergen destroys two waterfront buildings

NORTH BERGEN – The Roc Harbour development on the waterfront in North Bergen suffered from flooding during Hurricane Sandy in October. Now it has a new challenge to overcome — a fire that struck the complex early on Monday morning, Dec. 31, and destroyed two of the townhouse buildings.
According to News12, a portion of the complex collapsed due to the large fire, which began around 6 a.m. Several fire departments were called to put out the six-alarm blaze.
