A funeral mass was held Dec. 15 at Sts. Peter and Paul R.C. Church, Hoboken for Frieda Shannon, 90, of Hoboken. She passed away at the Bayshore Health Care Center, Holmdel on Dec. 12. Frieda was born and lived her whole life in Hoboken. She was a homemaker and an avid bingo player. She was the wife of the late Louis H. Shannon; mother of Corinne Colban and her husband George and John Shannon and his wife Joan; grandmother of Jill Colban and Sean Shannon; also survived by many other relatives.
