To the Editor:
Hurricane Sandy was a very difficult time for my mother. She is on oxygen 24/7 and without the help she received, I don’t know what we would have done. We would like to thank the EMTs who transported her to Nicholas Oresko School and Ray Branagan from McCabe’s who made sure she was safe and comfortable.
We also want to thank Officers Joynt, Booker, and Calabrese for the endless hours they worked to keep everyone safe. Also we would like to thank Dr. McGeehan, Keith Makowski, Dr. Dennis Degnan, John Rickard, and the custodial staff, all of the Board of Education, along with the City Council members and Mickey McCabe for their caring response to those in need.
We thank all those that were involved throughout the city who made this disaster a little easier to bear. Your hard work and dedication is appreciated
