To the Editor:
To quote from the preamble, we hold these truths to be self-evident: all men are created equal. This is true as to race, color, creed, but not humanistic values. They are the people who work in City Hall under the guidance of Mayor Mark Smith, Thomas Keyes, James Cilano, James Regan, Police Department, Fire Department, and others too numerous to mention, including Public Service Gas & Energy and Power On.
I also learned a lesson my parents taught my sister and I: all men are created equal, but some more than others, especially in a time of need, which comforted me.
Praise to City Hall!
