A funeral mass took place Nov. 7 at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church, Hoboken, for Josephine L. Scardigno, of Leonardo. She passed away Oct. 31 at home in the presence of her son. Born in Hackensack, Josephine was a resident of Hoboken most of her life before moving to Leonardo in 1983.She was employed with the Food Service Department at the Middletown High School North. Predeceased by her husband Mario M. in 1998, she will be missed by her two sons Joseph, and Michael Scardigno and his wife Dee, and their son Zachary. Josephine is the sister of Nancy DiNaro, Dolores McDonald, Michael DiNaro and his wife Lena. Several nieces and nephews also survive her. Mrs. Scardigno was predeceased by a brother Sal. Services arranged by the Failla Memorial Home, Hoboken.
