A funeral mass took place Oct. 16 at St. Joseph’s of the Palisades Church, West New York for Wilma Lomicky, 92, of West New York. She passed away Oct. 11. She was the wife of the late Joseph (2007); mother of Thomas (Carol), John (Suzanne), James, Peter, Jeanne, Kathy Hutka (Jeff), Stephen and the late Joseph and Theresa Mulhern; sister of Betty Pohlig Whalen and the late Peter, Frank and Mary Zaniewski; and grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and friends that will miss her. Wilma was born in West New York and was a lifelong resident. In addition to being a mother and homemaker, she worked as a Medical Assistant for Dr. Josef Bergmeier and later for Dr. Luis Suarez, and was a member of St. Joseph’s of the Palisades Church and its Alumni Assoc of W.N.Y. Services arranged by the Konopka Funeral Home, North Bergen.
