The funeral liturgy was performed Oct. 3 at the Corpus Christi R.C. Church, Hasbrouck Heights, for Florence A. Chandler, 75, of Hasbrouck Heights, formerly of Union City. She passed away Sept. 29. Born in Jersey City to the late Frank and Frances Covello, Florence was an executive secretary for North Hudson Community Head Start an early childhood learning center in West New York for 34 years. She was the wife of the late David Chandler; mother of Laura Coviello and her husband Michael of Hasbrouck Heights and Steven Chandler and his wife Sharon of Union Beach; sister of Carmela Stefano of Secaucus and the late Nicholas Covello; grandmother of Michael, John, Nicholas, Ryan, Eric, Steven, Shane, Holly and Sabrina; also survived by her brothers and sisters in law and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Care One at Wellington for their extraordinary care and support. Services arranged by the Costa Memorial Home, Hasbrouck Heights.
