A funeral mass was held Sept. 26 at Holy Angels Church, Little Falls, for Louis J. Liguori, 88, of Cedar Grove. He passed away Sept. 23. He was the husband of Antonia (Calio) Liguori; father of Francesca Russo and her husband Ralph; grandfather of Michael and Matthew Russo; brother of Mary Sirangelo and the late Nathan Liguori. Born and raised in Jersey City, he resided in Cedar Grove for fourteen years. Before his retirement he was employed at Block Drug Co., Jersey City for thirty years. He was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Jersey City for twenty five years, where he belonged to the choir and was a cantor. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls and was a member of the choir for ten years. Louis was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Services arranged by the Gaita Memorial Home, Little Falls.
