FRASIER, DOLORES

Funeral services took place Sept. 19 for Dolores Frasier. She passed away Sept. 11 at the Medical Center in Jersey City. She was the daughter of the late Annie and Clarence Fouch, Sr. and was born in Jersey City. She was educated in the Jersey City Public School System. After completing her education she worked various jobs. In 1963 she met and married the late Nathaniel Frasier. This union was blessed with one child, Dawn. After several years as a homemaker, she became heavily involved with her community at the A. Harry Moore Housing Project (Duncan), first as a volunteer, then in the tenant management program. She held the positions of Building Manager, Assistant Manager and Site Manger respectively. For 28 years she worked for the Jersey City Housing Authority under these various positions.
She was firm but fair and treated everyone with the same level of respect. She loved her Duncan Community. Dolores was predeceased by her parents Annie and Clarence Fouch, Sr.; her brother Clarence Fouch, Jr.; her husband Nathaniel Frasier; and nephew Donnell Fouch, Sr. She leaves to treasure her memory her daughter Dawn; her first cousin Freddie Taylor; sister in law Elaine Fouch; nieces and nephews: Karen, Gwendolyn, Michael, Derrick and Kim Fouch; and godsons Angel M. Echevarria, Jr. and Tashaun Dennis. She also was a second mother to Angel M. Echevarria, Sr., William ‘Chaz’ Epps and Erraina Pryde Rozier and a host of other relatives and friends. Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
