Dear Editor:
The following letter was sent to the administrators, faculty and staff of Hoboken Charter School: Administrators, Faculty and Staff of HCS, On behalf of our entire parent community, thank you for the outstanding job you did during the recent fire. Your ability to act quickly ensured the safe evacuation of our children. Your professionalism allowed them to stay calm and kept the experience from being traumatic. We know that many of you, in your concern for the students, left behind personal items. In addition, the classrooms that you just worked so hard to get ready have been significantly damaged. We want to ensure you that the entire HCS community is committed to rebuilding. In the end, the vibrancy of our school and the high quality of our students’ education lives not within our walls but within our people. We have always known that we have amazing teachers and staff. Last week’s events highlighted for all of us your incredible dedication to our children.
