Funeral services have been held for Nancy Moriggia Mardini, 48, of Parlin. She passed away Aug. 14 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, New Brunswick. Nancy was an EMT for the North Bergen Emergency Squad prior to her becoming disabled. She was predeceased by her father Lester Moriggia, and her sisters Mildred Moriggia and Annamarie Lio. Nancy is survived by her sisters Carol Kassabian, Elizabeth Christiansen, Charlotte Fantry, Lillian Moriggia; her brothers Michael Moriggia and Lester Moriggia; her mother Mildred Moriggia, the Kassabian Children; the Christiansen Children; many nieces and nephews; and was a friend and care giver to Sylvia Hammer. A special thanks to all of the doctors and nurses who tried so hard to keep her alive. Services arranged by the Sayreville Memorial Funeral Home, Sayreville.
