You know you live in a hip town when…

HUDSON COUNTY — Ice cream trucks are going to sidle up to kiddie playgrounds in summer. That’s a given. But a doggie truck selling cold doggie treats?
Well, the dog truck parked alongside Columbus Park, a county park in Hoboken, this week. On Monday night, a dog owner picked up a bowl of something cold to share with pooch-owning friends in a group of approximately seven dogs hanging out in the grass.
The truck Tweeted its location that night: “We are going to Columbus Park in about 15 minutes so come and get your froyo for fido…” The website (frostypooch.com) says that a husband and wife started the company. They own two German shepherds.
And you thought the Taco Truck was exciting!
