KAYE, THELMA LANGER

Funeral services were held July 29 for Thelma Langer Kaye, of Summit, formerly of Jersey City. She passed away July 26. Thelma was born in Bronx, daughter of Nathan and Gussie Langer. She worked for 25 years in the Jersey City school system as an elementary school teacher before retiring. At the time of her death, she was the manager of her condominium association in Summit. Thelma was a practitioner of yoga for over 40 years and an avid devotee of the arts. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Surviving, including her husband of 62 years, Bernard Kaye, are son, Daniel Kaye of Glen Ridge and his wife, Christine; son, David M. Kaye of Westfield and his wife, Ruth; grandchildren, Adam, Ariel and Henry Kaye; sister, Charlotte Max; and nieces, nephews and countless other relatives and friends. Services arranged by the Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
