A funeral mass was held July 23 at Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City, for John A. Bertolini, 81, of Jersey City. He passed away July 19 at his residence. Born to the late Biagio and Antoinette Bertolini, in Jersey City, he was a lifelong resident. He was a proud Army veteran serving in Germany during the Korean War. On Sept. 27, 1953 he married his love, Anna Marie, at Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City. Mr. Bertolini was a retired tool maker and designer with National Manufacturing in Chatham. He was the husband of Anna Marie; father of John and his wife Jane, Joseph and his wife Doreen, Robert and his wife Kim, Diane Van Natta and her husband Bill, Angela Sanducci and her husband Richard, and Thomas Bertolini and Sonilza DaCruz. He was the grandfather of Jacquelyn Bertolini, Christian Sanducci, Alexa Sanducci, Steven Van Natta, Blake Bertolini and Gianna Van Natta. He is also survived by one sister Josephine Stanberry and is predeceased by his siblings Charles, Ted, Louis, Biagio, Arthur Bertolini, Anne DiMaio, Louise DeSomma, Millie Goglucci and Teresa Santangelo. John was lovingly cared for by Carolyn Tally, Renato Gomez and Patricia Marquez. Services arranged by the Introcaso Angelo Funeral Home, Jersey City.
