HOBOKEN — Local residents who missed out on the first opportunity to buy tickets to the upcoming Mumford and Sons Concert will be given a second chance this Wednesday.
Tickets will be on sale this Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Tunes on 225 Washington St. Tickets are $55 each, cash only, and are limited to two per person.
The concert will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1 in Pier A Park.
The Hoboken School Superintendent’s office will also provide 20 tickets to honors students from the High School.
15,000 tickets went on sale last month and were sold out in roughly one day. Ticket prices immediately doubled on online ticket provider StubHub. Mayor Dawn Zimmer said that although the concert sold out quickly, roughly 2,500 Hoboken residents were able to purchase tickets.
