A funeral service was held July 13 for Mildred Lee Williams, 70. She passed away July 8 at Liberty House Nursing Home in Jersey City. Mildred was born in Warrenton, N.C. and had resided in Jersey City for most of her life. She was a homemaker, as well as having previously been employed by Mario Leather Co. in Newark. Mildred was predeceased by her husband, the late Norman Williams; mother of Norman Williams, Thomas Williams, Zenola Handy and Melissa Sindab; grandmother to seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; also survived by five siblings as well as a host of other loved ones and friends who will miss her dearly. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
