City releases revised “Movies Under the Stars” schedule

HOBOKEN — The city has released a revised schedule for their outdoor movie screenings, “movies Under the Stars.”
According to a release, the evenings will now also feature short films and musical performances before several of the movies.
Additionally, the Woody Guthrie Tribute Concert — which was previously cancelled — was rescheduled for Wednesday, July 25 at 7 p.m. The concert will be followed by a screening of “The Help.”
The events take place nearly every Wednesday in Pier A Park until the end of August.

Revised Schedule for 2012

July 18 – The Artist (9:00pm) Rated PG-13, 100 minutes
July 25 – The Help (9:00pm) Rated PG-13; 146 minutes
Aug. 1 – No movie tonight
Aug. 8 – Toy Story 3 (8:15pm) Rated G; Academy Award for Best Animated Film 2010; 103 minutes
-Aug. 15 – Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (8:00pm) 1971, Rated G, 100 minutes
-Aug. 22 – Wizard of Oz (8:00pm) 1939 – 101 minutes; (not rated)
