A funeral mass was celebrated July 11 at St. Paul of the Cross Church, Jersey City, for Ines Gutierrez, 71 of Jersey City. She passed away July 7 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico she has lived in Jersey City since 1961. She was a retired retail worker for the Salvation Army. She was the wife of Virginio Gutierrez; the mother Migdalia, Richard, Irvin and Eddie Gutierrez; sister of Blanca Simon, Pedro Torres and Francisco Torres; she is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
