In high heat, thousands came to Hudson County for fireworks

HUDSON COUNTY — Thousands of spectators crowded the Hudson River waterfront in New Jersey on Wednesday night to enjoy the Macy’s fireworks, even as temperatures were still hovering in the 80s after 9 p.m.
