Read your Reporter this weekend for stories you haven’t seen either in print or on-line

HUDSON COUNTY — The news moves fast, but take time to read your local print edition of the Reporter this weekend and you may find a lot you didn’t know about, including news and features that haven’t yet been reported anywhere on the web or in print.
We’re working to bring you information that’s new — not to mention all the twists or more information on the stories you’ve already heard about.
Some of the stories include:
-In all towns, a July 4 guide to what’s closed, open, only open to residents. Some streets and parks will have limited access during the Macy’s fireworks, so find out where and when.
-In Jersey City, a school superintendent has been chosen despite protests over the process — and there are new questions about the state’s involvement in the choice. Find out more.
-In Hoboken, construction in the industrial northwest has brought a few complaints about noise and smells, but it’s all part of the transformation into a more residential area. Updates on the projects and when they’ll be completed.
-In Secaucus and the Meadowlands, the former Xanadu project has gotten more approvals and also more protests. Also, kids in Secaucus will have more nutrition in their lunches – but also local pizza.
-In Guttenberg, does a district with one school need a superintendent? The mayor has a difference of opinion than local educators.
-In Weehawken, a resident with an odd sense of humor talks about her big funny Greek wedding — on TV.
There’s so much more, but we have nine papers to finish up. So come back here Sunday to read the new stories, or check our print editions on your doorstep or at your local business.
Don’t forget to read Al Sullivan’s political column, or Jim Hague on sports.
The more you know, the better off you are!
