To the Editor:
I would like to welcome Phyllis Melito, the former vice president of the Hudson County Animal League, to the Bayonne Feral Cat Foundation.
Phyllis has over 20 years of hands-on experience in animal welfare and will be an asset to our organization. I had the pleasure of working with her in the past, and she puts her heart and soul into making life better for the animals that have been rescued and are in need of loving homes.
For anyone who works as a volunteer, especially in animal welfare, being appreciated and valued makes all the difference between holding onto good people and losing them.
