A funeral mass was held June 9 at St. Lawrence Church for George Carrick, 81, of West New York. He passed away June 6. He was born in New York City and lived most of his life in West New York. George was a pressman for the New York Times for many years before retiring. He was a Marine Corp. veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was the husband of the late Eleanor Carrick and the brother of Ethel Spina. He was the uncle of Karen, Donald, Laurie and Michael as well as the grand uncle of seven and great grand uncle of two. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
