To the Editor:
On behalf of the Hudson County Animal League, I would like to thank everyone that either attended or donated to the last two kitten showers we held. It was nice seeing new faces and especially nice seeing past members coming back to help support our efforts to help the homeless animals.
Also many thanks to the staff of Marist High School and the Bayonne Women’s Club, and everyone that donated items we received from the fashion show they held.
I would also like to thank everyone that supports us by sending in coupons on a regular basis. This helps with the cost of food for our rescues. We really appreciate anyone that helps our efforts. There are many people that have supported us throughout the years in different ways, and every way is appreciated. We look forward to seeing these people in the future.
I have been involved with this organization for more than 15 years, and working alongside the new board members we have is a pleasure and very rewarding. We have been re-energized, communicate constantly, work together, and more focused on helping the abandoned and abused animals that come into our care. We are motivated to move forward to find homes for these rescues.
We are looking forward to meeting and recruiting new people, and working along with the members that have decided to come back and volunteer for the overall goal of helping the animals that need it.
