HOBOKEN — The city will hold an award ceremony in honor of the Hoboken Police Department tomorrow, June 14 at 10 a.m. in the Howe Center on the Stevens campus.
Over 200 awards will be presented in order to commend service, valor, and bravery between the years of 2006 and 2011. 88 current and retired police officers and law enforcement officers from other agencies will receive awards.
The ceremony will be the second consecutive year that marks an effort to begin honoring members of the police force in this way.-Stephen LaMarca
