On June 4, graveside services were held for Helen Marie Szafranski, who passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012. A lifelong resident of Jersey City, she was the wife of the late Sigmund; mother of Sharon Lauer (Joseph) and John Szafranski (Susan); grandmother of Melissa Feuerstein (Derek); great-grandmother of Summer Ann Feuerstein; sister of the late Margaret Mawson, Joann Kozireski, Francis and Timothy Doody. Funeral arrangements were by the McLaughlin Funeral Home.
