Mayor Zimmer, Leo Pellegrini and her team should be commended on the grand opening of the new Jefferson Street Park. The park, which is adjacent to the Hoboken Boys & Girls Club, at 123 Jefferson Street, was transformed from what was an unsafe and unusable eyesore into an oasis for our communities’ children and their families. The Mayor and her team made sure this state-of- the-art and stimulating piece of urban paradise was finished just in time for the beautiful spring and summer months. On behalf of the Boys & Girls Club’s staff and our members, we cherish the opportunity of having such a valuable community resource attached to our program’s clubhouse.
