River Street paving again rescheduled, for Monday

HOBOKEN — The River Street paving has been rescheduled for Monday, May 21 as a result of complications from rescheduling the roadwork from nighttime to daytime hours, a city spokesperson said. The remainder of the milling work will be completed Thursday, and asphalt will be temporarily placed around manhole covers.
The city is offering free parking to residents on River Street while the city continues resurfacing work between Hudson Place and Fourth Street.
Free garage parking will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis in Municipal Garage B at Second Street between River and Hudson Streets, and Garage D on Hudson Street between Second and Third Streets.
According to a city spokesperson, residents will be entitled to free parking Sunday, May 20 at 8 p.m. until Tuesday, May 22 at 12 p.m.
