‘Outstanding presentation’

To the Editor:
On April 3, I, along with 17 of my fellow veterans, was treated to an outstanding presentation of patriotism performed by the pre-kindergarten to third graders of Horace Mann School. This performance celebrated “The Week of the Young Child,” and was the most well-performed and staged production we’ve ever had the pleasure to attend. We would like to congratulate Mrs. Pepe, the musical director, for her wonderful work on this production, and also thank Dr. Quinn and all the teachers, parents and staff for going out of their way to make this special production.
The children were animated, enthusiastic and very well-prepared, and this could only have happened if everyone at the school worked very hard together to make it occur.
I have always been proud to be a veteran, but after this show I can also be proud to live in Bayonne where a school puts such dedication into a production, which reminds us all why we should be proud to be Americans.
We would like to thank everyone involved for the creative thoughtfulness and energy that was exhibited that morning, particularly our children, who are the future of America.
