BAYONNE — Bayonne police have confirmed that more arrests have been made in the ongoing probe into alleged fraud by workers at International Matex Tank Terminal, which operates bulk liquid chemical storage in Bayonne.
This is the second round of arrests that are connected to an alleged check writing scheme that may have netted as much as $400,000 as reported in various media outlets.
A spokesperson for the police department confirmed that three more people had been arrested in the investigation, including Gregory M. Pace, 42, of Warren Township, Sueann A. Oleski, 30, of Bayonne and John A. Doering 40, of Mountainside.
Oleski was released with a summons, the other two, officials said, were released on bail.
Pace, an employee of the union working at the facility, was charged with theft by deception, receiving stolen property, money laundering, conspiracy to launder money and misconduct by a corporate official.

Oleski, who works at a local beauty salon, has been charged with theft by deception.
Police Chief Robert Kubert said he could not otherwise comment on an ongoing investigation.
