HOBOKEN — A new monthly art event, “3rd Sundays: Hoboken’s Monthly Gallery Walk,” will kick off next Sunday, April 15, with a tour of 10 galleries and art spaces around the Mile Square City, all within walking distance.
The event, similar to the annual fall art studio tour that draws thousands of art lovers for a whole weekend to the city, is meant to feature the places where art is displayed and marketed in Hoboken.
Every third Sunday, sponsored by the city, the event will include special events and receptions from 2 to 6 p.m., focusing on the the work of local, regional and international artists.
You can walk on your own schedule, or participate in a free guided tour featuring galleries on the east side in April and west-side galleries in May.
The tour kicks off from Lana Santorelli Gallery, 628 Washington St., at 2 p.m. on April 15 and again on May 20.
