Dear Editor:
I read, with great amusement, about an acquaintance, Elaine Samman of Animal Life Savers, and how she rescued a pot-bellied pig and found him a wonderful living arrangement.
And then I read the pig’s name, Henry Krajewski.
I nearly fell out of the chair! My late stepfather was Henry Krajewski. He proudly served in World War II as a paratrooper, and owned a television repair shop in Plainfield. He married my mom in 1995, and he passed away on 2009.
Mom is going to see his family for the Easter holiday and can’t wait to show this article to them. Once the shock wears off, we’ll all agree that Henry would be proud of his namesake.
It certainly IS a small world!
Best regards,
Annette Shandolow-Hassell
