Bernard was a longshoreman for many years before retiring. Bernard was the husband of the late Margaret Gallagher, father of Carrie Francis Herrera, Bernard J. Gallagher, Matthew J. Gallagher and Craig M. Gallagher and the father in law of Linda Gallagher, Tobey Gallagher, Dolores Gallagher and Marco Herrera. He is survived by sister Florence Serino . Bernard was also a grandfather of 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
