A Catholic blessing was held April 6 at St. Ann’s R.C. Church for Caterina Bini, 79. She passed away peacefully on April 3 at Hoboken University Medical Center. Born in Bari, Italy, Caterina immigrated to the United States in 1961, settling in Hoboken. She was a seamstress for many years with various clothing manufacturers in Hoboken. A wife to Cristoforo Bini of 49 years, whom she met in their town of birth over 60 years ago, Mrs. Bini and her husband were friends since their early years in Italy prior to their marriage. She will be missed by her children; Vincent Bini and his wife Lucrezia, Angelo Bini and his wife Nancy, Vito Bini and his wife Natalie and Lorenza Ford and her husband Brian. A great joy in Caterina’s life were her nine grandchildren; Cristoforo, Paul, Catherine, Maria, Christopher, Nicholas, John, Brian Jr., and Kaitlyn. Predeceased by a brother Antonio Natalicchio in 1980 and his wife Antonella who passed away this Palm Sunday, in Italy. Caterina’s jovial smile will be missed by her family and friends.
