A funeral mass was offered Jan. 26 at St. Nicholas RC Church, Jersey City, for Frederick E. Delaney. He died peacefully on Jan. 20. Frederick was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident. He was a driver for Christ Hospital in Jersey City for 8 years. He is the husband of Edith Delaney; father of Susan Coletta and her husband Craig, and the late Joseph Delaney; brother of John, David, Joseph, Daniel Delaney, and the late Helen Seifring and Michael Delaney; grandfather of Evan and Eamon Coletta; and also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
