HUDSON COUNTY — Oh dear.
The Huffington Post reports that Hoboken, already a mecca for reality stars (like Buddy “Cake Boss” Valastro, the Manzo brothers from “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” and Kris Humphries), may soon get two more — Snooki and JWoww from “Jersey Shore.”
The article cites reports that the show may launch a spinoff in the mile-square city or in Jersey City. Talent scouts are reportedly looking at both locations.
The story says: “The two potential New Jersey locations MTV is reportedly looking at now — Hoboken and Jersey City — could prove to be a good fit for the pair’s boozy shenanigans: Hoboken boasts the most bars per-capita of any city in the United States, and both cities are short train-rides away from Manhattan’s bustling nightlife. In other words: No Karma, no problem.”
The story also cites the New York Post as saying that maybe the original show itself will be landing in Hoboken.
