Funeral mass was performed Jan. 7 at St. Paul the Apostle Church for Richard McManus, 71. He died Jan. 3 at his home. Born in Bronx, New York, the son of the late Margaret (Kennelly) and Hugh McManus, he lived in Jersey City the last 49 years. He was proprietor of Phil’s Auto Repair on Danforth Avenue, Jersey City, for 10 years. He retired in 1979. He is survived by his wife Minnie; their two sons, Philip and Robert, and grandson Alexander. Services arranged by the Greenville Memorial Home, Jersey City.
