Funeral services were held Dec. 28 for Mary C. Matuszewski, 84. She passed away Dec. 23. She was born in Jersey City and lived there her entire life before moving to Haledon in 2005. She was a medical transcriptionist for Dr. Mark Phillipone in Jersey City. She was a former parishioner of St. Paul’s R.C. Church in the Greenville section of Jersey City. She was the wife of the late Edward A. Matuszewski; mother of David A. Matuszewski of Haledon, Barry Matuszewski and his wife June of Vauxhall, and the late Patricia Savage; grandmother of Emily Christine Savage; and sister of the late Michael Robert and Amerson Richard Bigelow. MOLONEY, LORNA MYRA. Funeral services were held Dec. 28 for Lorna Myra Moloney, 89. She passed away Dec. 24. She was the wife of the late John Moloney and daughter of the late Theodore Joffe and the late Sally Stein. She is survived by her son, caregiver and best friend, Jack Moloney, by her brothers, Neil Gutterman and the late Gary Gutterman both to whom she was a ‘sister/Mom’.
