A funeral mass was performed Dec. 28 at St. Nicholas RC Church for Andrew Lampone, Sr., 87. He died peacefully on Dec. 24. He was born in Lodi and lived in Jersey City most of his life. Andrew was an Army veteran, having served in World War II. He was a machinist for 28 years for Groove Pin Inc. of Ridgefield before retiring in 1986. He was the husband of the late Elisa (nee Zanetti); father of Andrew, Jr., John, and the late Lillian; brother of Julio Lampone; and also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
