HOBOKEN AND BEYOND — Basketball player (and reality TV star) Kris Humphries, who is getting divorced from model Kim Kardashian, recently signed a one-year contract to return to the New Jersey Nets. According to RadarOnline.com, he has also returned to Hoboken.
Humphries lived in the city’s uptown Tea Building during his last run with the Nets. The building hosts other athletes like Giants Quarterback Eli Manning. It also has New York skyline views.
Radar reports that Humphries has moved back into the building he left this past August. The story says he is “thrilled to be living in his Hoboken bachelor pad again” and likes the town “because of its small-town feel.”
The story then quotes a friend of the couple as saying that Kardashian “hated Kris’ condo in Hoboken. She only spent the night at his place once when they were dating. She said it was because his building didn’t have a doorman, and she needed the extra security. But Kris’ building is extremely safe. Who would have tried to harm her as Kris is 6’9? She was just making excuses not to spend time there.”
But is that true? It may conflict with the numerous reports of her fabulous famous fanny bouncing around the city’s ShopRite or planting itself at Stacks pancakes while the pair was dating.
Meanwhile, not everyone is glad to have Humphries back. He’s been getting jeers from audience members at NBA games while on the court.
