Brothers arrested in connection with Christmas Day death in Jersey City

JERSEY CITY AND BEYOND – The Office of the Hudson County Prosecutor has released the name of the man killed on Roosevelt Avenue in Jersey City on Christmas Day as a result of what is believed to be a family dispute.
According to published reports, Jorge Alzendia died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head, allegedly the result of kicks, punches, and beatings with a shovel.
Alzendia’s brothers-in-law have been arrested and charged with murder, according to the county prosecutor. They have not yet entered a plea.
The three men are reportedly brothers of Alzendia’s wife.
