A funeral mass took place Dec. 7 at Our Lady of Mercy Church for Michael Lofrano, 83. He died Dec. 5 at Christ Hospital, Jersey City. A lifelong Jersey City resident, he retired from I.T.T. Industries, Clifton. He was a U.S. Army veteran during peacetime. He was the son of the late Angela and Anthony Lofrano; and cousin of Agnes Amabile, Angie Amabile, Jean Dominic, Theresa Frega and Agnes Wilson.
