A mass of Christian burial was held Dec. 6 at St. Michael’s RC Church, Jersey City, for Donna M. French, 50. She passed away suddenly on Dec. 1. Donna was a native and life-long resident of Jersey City. She was a crossing guard in downtown for many years. Donna is survived by her long-time companion, Eddie Mongon; a son, Michael A. Prins; three brothers, Harold M. French, Jr., Nicholas J. French and John L. French (wife Mary); two sisters, Kathleen T. Sostre (husband Jose) and Elizabeth A. Mont (husband Alex, Sr.); a granddaughter, Destiny Williams; seven nephews and nieces, Julian, Joshua, Alex, Jr., Sabrina, Samantha, Emily and Anthony; and three great-nieces, Olivia, Rhianna and Rebecca.
