The Sovereign Bank will host an exhibition of glass paintings combined with hand-crafted jewelry by Hob’art member Jodi Zulueta from December 5 to January 21, 2012, entitled “Jodi Zulueta: Linear Conversations.” The show features Zulueta’s use of glass paintings to create a backdrop to her hand-wrought jewelry designs. The works explore symbolism and linear relationships that have recurring appearances and importance. A graduate of New Jersey City University with a B.A. in Communication Design, Zulueta works primarily with metals, crystals, and glass. Zulueta is also an ardent volunteer at the Hoboken Shelter, conducting art workshops as well as coordinating with other Hob’Art members to do the same.
