A mass of Christian burial was offered Dec. 3 at St. Henry’s RC Church for Thomas Delaney, 57, of Jersey City and Bayonne. He passed away Nov. 24 at the Bayonne Medical Center after a long illness. Born in Jersey City, he lived briefly in Lyndhurst before returning to Hudson County. A self-employed contractor by trade, Thomas is survived by his companion and best friend Myrtha Joseph-Delaney; his brother Robert DiSavino; nieces, Donna and Diane; and a host of other relatives and cousins. Thomas was predeceased by his parents, John and Bertha Delaney and his brother Flash Di Savino. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
