BAYONNE AND BEYOND — Bayonne police told the media Tuesday that four people were shot to death in a Bayonne home Monday night, including a baby. NJ.com quoted police as saying that it was a murder-suicide of “mostly family members.”
Gunshots were reportedly heard around 8 p.m. from inside a house at Fourth Street and Avenue A.
The baby, who was between 12 and 18 months, was taken to the hospital but did not survive a gunshot wound, according to the report.
According to NJ.com, “The adult male believed to have been the gunman died inside the home, apparently of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, officials said.”
