PASCULLI, JOSEPHINE

A funeral mass was offered Nov. 30 at St. Ann’s RC Church, Hoboken, for Josephine Pasculli. She passed away Nov. 26 in the presence of her sons at her Hoboken residence. Known by most as “Josie,” she helped establish Mister Pat’s Fashions along with her husband Nicholas who died in 1987. They worked diligently together in children’s fashions as co owners and managers. Josie retired in 1985 after more than 25 years with the business. A parishioner of St. Ann’s church and a lifelong Hoboken resident she will be missed by her two sons and their wives, former Hoboken mayor Patrick Pasculli and Dolores and Anthony Pasculli and his wife Irene. Also surviving are her three sisters, Antoinette Loungo, Nancy Tucillo, and Gloria Buonarota. Josephine also endured the loss of a son, Nicholas, and three sisters, Vera Bartolli, Dolores Favata, and Frances Principe. She enjoyed the love and attention she shared with her grandchildren, Anthony, Joseph, Jamie, Nicole, Joseph, Alyssa, and Nicholas, as well as her great grandchildren Matteo, Ella, and Brody. She leaves a host of nieces and nephews, an aunt, Catherine Petrillo, and her dedicated care giver, Natalie, who has become a part of the Pasculli family.
