Firefighter under investigation for alleged use of department vehicle to visit go-go bar

HUDSON COUNTY — Officials are looking into the case of a North Hudson Regional firefighter who allegedly used a department vehicle to visit the Squeeze Lounge in Weehawken the night before Thanksgiving, according to an article on NJ.com.
A Weehawken resident called the police Thanksgiving morning to report a North Hudson Regional Fire & Rescue SUV that had allegedly been parked illegally outside of the bar.
Officials who responded to the call found no one in the vehicle and reported that no one had been authorized to use it. The vehicle was towed back to headquarters.
The police would not release the name of the firefighter who is being investigated.
No action has been taken yet, according to officials.
