A funeral mass took place Nov. 14 at St. Aedan’s Church, Jersey City, for Veronica Corbalis, 84. She passed away Nov. 10 at Bayonne Medical Center. Born to the late Sylvester and Anna Regan, she was a lifelong resident of Jersey City. In addition to caring for her family, Veronica worked for Block Drug in Jersey City, for many years, retiring in 1985. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Corbalis, and her son, John L. Corbalis. She was the mother of Thomas Corbalis and Kathleen Aponte; and grandmother of Steven, Justin, Kyle Keiran and Austin and sister of Dorothy Campenelli.
